Summer Workshops were once again a huge success. Most have said that this was the “best ever,” but I’m starting to believe that we say “best ever” for every year. Just over 200 kids participated in classes given by 50 volunteers. Most of the volunteers this year were local youth who had once attended summer workshops themselves. It may be that it was this, the chance to watch so many kids give back to kids.. that made the summer so very special.
