If you are visiting San Pancho it is the perfect place to pick up an extra pair of flip flops or the bathing suit you forgot to pack. If you are a resident of San Pancho, its a one-stop shop for high quality brand name clothes that you can’t find anywhere else in Mexico.
The Community Closet is housed inside Recicla Shop, it is a place where children clothing and shoes are only 5 pesos and any adult item is only 20 pesos. Families can find great quality clothes for super cheap and it is a way for Entreamigos to serve the most needy of our community.
Inside the Community Closet, local residents can purchase food packs and school supplies using “Panchos” instead of pesos or dollars. Panchos can be earned by parents attending parenting workshops, by people without work helping in the community and other ways. To learn more about panchos and the way they serve our community please visit the Community Currency page of our website.
The Community Closet also stores emergency supplies in case of a hurricane, flooding or other natural disaster. Entreamigos is the official Emergency Shelter for San Pancho and surrounding communities and the items in the Community Closet are designated for emergency use.
When you shop or donate to Recicla Shop you are supporting education in San Pancho. You are also helping us support children and families in need through our Community Closet project.
When you prepare to return to San Pancho…or if you come as a visitor, please consider packing an extra suitcase with clothes, housewares, kitchenware and other items that you no longer need.
When you donate your things to Entreamigos it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE
