There are many special things about San Pancho. One that stands out is Entreamigos, our library and community center. It is truly the heart of the community, sharing the values of education, environment and creativity.Entreamigos inspires us to be our best selves and to work together for a better world.
With this in mind, we ask you to consider the option of Planned Giving at Entreamigos. Many people choose to make a charitable donation in their Will or other estate planning, to support a cause that has been close to their hearts. The value of such a gift to Entreamigos, is that it provides a critical source of financial support and helps ensure that Entreamigos continues to serve and inspire the community and its children into the future.
Thank you!
Making a gift to Entreamigos in your Will or living trust is easy to arrange and costs nothing to make. Your gift is revocable and remains under your control during your life. You may designate a specific amount or a percentage of your estate to Entreamigos.
Distributions from tax-deferred retirement plans, like IRAs, are taxable to owners during life — and to heirs when inherited. This means that inherited IRAs can become a tax liability for children and loved ones. When used to make a charitable gift to Entreamigos, however, retirement plan assets are transferred tax-free. By naming Entreamigos as a full or partial beneficiary of your retirement plan and leaving other, less tax-vulnerable assets to your heirs, you can reduce or eliminate taxes for your heirs while knowing 100% of your gift to Entreamigos will be used to provide education to children and community members.
