The Spanish School at entreamigos is open from October through May with classes for all skills and abilities. (the language school is currently ON HOLD at entreamigos, please contact the front desk for more information)

Students can choose to expand their skills and their studies by practicing to speak spanish with children in the afternoon programs or alongside adults in one of the galleries or workshops.
The Spanish Language School organizes cultural exchanges and offers educational opportunities, like cooking, dance, art and other classes. You do not have to be a Spanish Language student to participate in these classes. Please see our calendar for current activities.
The following are six week sequential programs. Classes are held 2 days a week with a total of 20 hours of instruction at each level. All materials are included in the class fee. To sign up or if you have any questions, please email info@entreamigos.org.mx
For students with no previous contact with Spanish
After the course, students will be able to:
– Greet in diverse social situations
– Express preferences and interests
– Ask about products and pricing
– Describe places and locations
– Talk about current events and weather
– Participate in simple daily conversations.
For students exposed to Spanish, with limited vocabulary and grammar
After the course, students will be able to:
– Ask for and provide information in specific contexts
– Discuss current events in detail and express opinions
– Describe facts and details of the immediate past
Emphasis is placed on oral expression and pronunciation correction
After the course, students will be able to:
– Refer to and describe past events
– Give instructions and advice
– Discuss projects and plans
– Express emotions, feelings and aches
Emphasis is on written production and listening comprehension skills.
After the course, students will be able to:
– Speak about causes and consequences
– Make hypothesis and conjectures
– Refer to future actions
– Write a letter or a story
– Make jokes
For students with solid Spanish knowledge.
In addition to the previously described Spanish programs, the Conversation Club aims to develop and reinforce oral expression and listening comprehension skills in beginner and intermediate levels.
