The Entreamigos sports facility is a very busy multi-use space. It has a concrete floor covered with a soft gymnastic mat, making it the perfect space for dance, gymnastics, karate and similar activities.
A variety of afternoon classes are given by Entreamigos workshop leaders. These classes are for children and are offered free of charge. A current schedule of classes can be found on the Sports Center calendar.
In 2011, Gilles Ste-Croix, one of the founders of Cirque du Soleil launched Circo de los Ninos in the Entreamigos sports facility. Circo de los Ninos is a series of circus classes including acrobatics, trapeze, fabric dancing, theater arts, juggling, unicycle riding and stilt walking taught by local instructors that have been trained and mentored by Cirque du Soleil staff.
The 60+ children that participate in the classes have performed two spectacular performances. The most recent Circo de los Ninos show presented in the Plaza del Sol in front of 1000 people.
Many private instructors offer classes to the public in the Entreamigos sports facility. These classes are for children and adults, are organized directly by the instructor and usually have a fee. Current classes are listed on the Sports Center Calendar.
