The Entreamigos Library offers a high quality bilingual collection of more than 5,000 titles. Books are available for loan with your free library card. The library provides additional support and services such as computer and internet access, after school homework help, reading circles, computer classes, art and other classes as well as school and group tours. Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm for book checkout and self serve internet use. Monday – Thursday 1pm – 5pm for book checkout, new library cards, tutoring, reference help, internet help, workshops, reading circles and all other librarian assistance. Saturday 10am – 2pm for book checkout and self serve internet use. Library hours are dependent on volunteer support. If you would like to help keep our library open, please consider becoming a volunteer. Computer Center The computer center is equipped with high speed internet access available on 6 desktop computers. The computers are equipped with basic word processing and accounting software and are perfect for email and internet use. There are NO printing services available. All internet and computer use is self serve. Children may only access the computers with permission of Librarian. Computers are free to all students. Donations are appreciated for all other users.
The Entreamigos store room houses a collection of art, craft and school supplies that have been donated. These materials are provided free of charge to all teachers in all of the schools in San Pancho. The Entreamigos librarian offers curriculum guided materials support for local teachers. Book collections in science, literature and the arts can be loaned in sets for teacher and student use.
Our library is a busy place and always needs extra hands. You do not need to speak Spanish to volunteer in the library but you do need to come with an open mind and a willingness to fill in where needed. Volunteers are needed:
