Join us for our annual community reforestation event.  People of all ages will work to plant 100’s of new trees in San Pancho.  This is a huge fun event for the whole community.  There are free t-shirts, food, music, games and art for all ages!

The summer workshop muralists will be working all week to complete a series of fun murals in the town of San Pancho.  Join us as an artist or a volunteer!   no experience necessary!

WHAT TO EXPECT: You should expect to come to one of the most surprisingly fun fundraising events ever!  In the style of entreAmigos, the entire evening will be thoughtful, creative, beautiful and chock full of activities!  We will have a silent auction and live auction, open cash bar, grilled hot food for anyone extra hungry and a circus style show that will color the entire evening in lighthearted fun.  We expect the entire evening to finish by 9 BUT we encourage everyone to stay till 9 as there are many moments not to be missed!

WHAT TO BRING: You should most certainly bring your good humor and you should also come thinking about entreamigos and the role we play in this community and in the region…   and with those thoughts in mind it would be good to brings some cash, a checkbook or credit card just in case you come across some amazing auction items or feel inspired to make a donation!

EntreAmigos Fundraiser and Auction March 19th in San Pancho

One of Nayarit’s most beloved nonprofits, EntreAmigos, will hold its annual fundraiser in San Pancho on Friday, March 19^th at 6:00pm, at its newly restored Bodega facility, which has been called a model of sustainability and community collaboration.

The 2^nd annual event, A Celebration of Children´s Art, will feature appetizers, full bar, entertainment, and both silent and live auctions of a wide variety of art, goods and services. Ítems as diverse as a week´s stay at a luxurious oceanfront home with pool, plane tickets to PV, and a well-known musical group to play at your party complement dozens of offerings such as massage and beautifully framed original artwork. EA fundraisers are beautiful, creative and joyful events and enthusiasm is high for the first one in this new location.

The newly restored 16,000 sq ft bodega was formerly a milk processing factory which had been vacant for many years until EntreAmigos received the rights to remodel it from the Government of Nayarit. People from all segments of the community took part in restoring and adapting the run-down building using almost entirely recycled materials. A 25-foot sculpture of a tree built by artist Han Higuera of recycled scraps and discarded metal greets visitors at the entrance, a testimonial to the marriage of art, education and sustainablitiy at the core of EntreAmigos.

EntreAmigos has been creating educational opportunities for the community of San Pancho since 2006 and has grown to include a library, a computer center, an art gallery and store, English and Spanish classes, a recycling center, cultural workshops, performance space, after-school tutoring and a scholarship program for kids. A multimedia center is in progress, as is an indoor sports area.

The organization has become known in Nayarit for its Recicla Parques, playgrounds built by kids and adults from recycled junk, which build eco-awareness and model community collaboration in their one-day teamwork construction. Completed playgrounds may be seen in San Pancho and Punta de Mita, with five additional projects planned nearby in upcoming months.

EntreAmigos is located on Avenida Tercer Mundo, about one-tenth of a mile on the left from the entrance to town from Hwy 200 .
