March 24th Chile Relleno Workshop
As part of our bilingual cultural activity series we are learning how to make Chile Rellenos. Using fresh ingredients and a traditional recipe our very own Teresa Licea will show us her tricks for transforming a simple pepper into a mouthwatering dish. Students should bring 2 medium size (green) poblano peppers. All other ingredients will be provided, tasting is mandatory.

March 30th & April 1st Community Mosaic
Please join us next Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm, as we put the finishing touches on the patio fountain. Artist Laura Ruud will lead our community mosaic project walking us through the process of mosaic making. This is a two day community event, come and join the children of San Pancho make something beautiful.

March 8th - Galaria Art Opening
The Galaria at entreAmigos presents ” Pinturas” by Antonella Chamorros, opening Monday, March 8 th at 5:30. Featuring wine, art, and a special performance. Artwork will be on display at the Centro Comunitario Educativo Galaria through April 8th.
March 5th “Mojado y Seco” Slide show and presentation
By photographer Douglas Fir; “Mojado y Seco” featuring images of Chile and the north of Argentina before the earthquake. Chilean Lake District, the Atacama Desert and the Province of Jujuy. Taking place at the Centro Comunitario Educativo in the cafe at 7:00pm.
March 4th Cooking with Capomo Workshop
This one-day workshop demonstrates the many ways capomo can be used in new and traditional recipes; such as roasting and grinding into a rich flour as a substitute for maize in tortillas.
Capomo, AKA Maya nut, Breadnut or Ramon nut is a relative of the fig family, it is nutritionally comparable to amaranth, quinoa and soybean. It is rich in fiber, protein, vitamins A, E, C and B, and minerals, including calcium, potassium, folate, iron and zinc. Capomo was a favored food amongst indigenous groups of Mesoamerica and is found throughout Central America and Mexico

The Thursday the concert series continues with our rescheduled Variety Show. Don’t miss this thursday night at entreAmigos outdoor stage: a variety-show featuring live music, dance, theatre, circus, puppets, fire and fun!
Performers are secret talents -well, sometimes not so secret!- that live in San Pancho!
