PLANTA SAN PANCHO 2008!

The third annual Planta San Pancho event was bigger than ever and loads of fun for families in the community.  We estimate that over 600 people participated in our annual campaign to beautify San Pancho and teach about protecting the environment.  We planted 1000’s of new trees in the river, hospital, schools, soccer field and other areas. This year was marked by the participation of government organizations, private enterprise and the community.  We very much appreciate the support of the Tome Family (CitiCapital?San Pancho Development) and also the Emerald Coast Foundation which enabled us to bring this event to a much larger audience.  We were joined by representatives from SEMARNAT, CONAFOR, and the President of Bahia de Banderas, Dr. Jaime Cuevas.
