PLANTA SAN PANCHO 2008!

The third annual Planta San Pancho event was bigger than ever and loads of fun for families in the community.  We estimate that over 600 people participated in our annual campaign to beautify San Pancho and teach about protecting the environment.  We planted 1000’s of new trees in the river, hospital, schools, soccer field and other areas. This year was marked by the participation of government organizations, private enterprise and the community.  We very much appreciate the support of the Tome Family (CitiCapital?San Pancho Development) and also the Emerald Coast Foundation which enabled us to bring this event to a much larger audience.  We were joined by representatives from SEMARNAT, CONAFOR, and the President of Bahia de Banderas, Dr. Jaime Cuevas.

All entreAmigos programs are entirely supported by individual donations. Your support MAKES A DIFFERENCE in the life of a San Pancho child. Please consider supporting entreamigos. We are a certified non-profit in both the United States and Mexico so as always your donations are tax deductable!

Volunteer with entreAmigos!

entreAmigos means “among friends” and as a volunteer with entreamigos you will be part of an extended family of people choosing to make a difference. Volunteers are fundamental to our success as nearly 80% of our programs are supported and organized by volunteers.

school supplies and backpacks
books in spanish
car, truck or bus for transportation
trailer
art supplies
musical instruments
cameras and video cameras (digital only, please)
projector and screen
chairs and tables
shelves
wood
broken tiles for murals
computers/laptops in good condition

Basically… We will find a good home for anything that is in good working order. Items that we don’t use in entreamigos are redistributed into the community.
